Wow that's awesome. I'm glad Pit is getting some attention myself because I loved Kid Icarus when I was younger...don't really care for it anymore but I have some memories of dying a lot that are precious gaming memories.

I'm glad the game will be keeping the same gameplay style of the Melee, but I'm wondering just how the motion sensing will add new depth to fighting games.

Holy shit Nintendo is just not stopping. I want a Wii now please. :(

It won't.
You can use the Gamecube controller and, if I assume correctly, the new Wii "classic" controller.

The Wiimote is not used at all with this game.

Alright, I'll let that slide, I suppose, but I still say he's the next Chuck Norris. :P Yeah I'm excited. I believe this will be the most fun Super Smash Bros game yet. And hell yeah about Kid Icarus, he looked the best. And yeah yeah, hooray for Solid Snake. :P

I can't help but think Snake is a bit out of place in the Smash Brothers theme.  What are his moves?  Slitting Pikachu's throat?  Strangling Luigi?  Maybe they'll make an RE zombie unlockable.

Yeah, I hope this game has like 90+ characters (and no more of this 3 versions of mario bullshit).  Its good to see Wario in there....quite an appearance he had in the video too. xD

That Snake is apparently included because Kojima begged for it makes it acceptable to me.

Really, I wouldn't have complained if they just added Metaknight and nothing else.

most smash brothers characters seem out of place. Kirby, Captain Falcon, Pikachu, Mario. Link and Samus don't belong in the same game, really.. but that is part of the Smash Bros fun. I think Snake will make a great addition.. and his intro in the trailer was fantastic. (I love Kojima's sense of humor, and that looked like one of his jokes for sure)

Hell, Nobuo Uematsu composed the main theme..

This is easily the best news that I've heard out of E3 thusfar.

It's great that Nintendo is letting non-Nintendo characters into the mix, which gives us a bit of hope that characters like Sonic, Pacman, etc, might possibly make appearances. But even if the four new characters are it (which I doubt is the case), I'd be perfectly content.

Hell, Pit is enough badassness for me :P

It was also red/brown in the ending. Limited color palettes rule.

Yeah Snake may be out of place but it's what making it so damn hot!
