So many mmorpgs are said to resemblance to WoW. Why not list them out? If you know others, just put them up.

Perfect World -A complete WoW Clone. The game features an auction house, similar to that of World of Warcraft and a crafting system where players have to collect resources outside town, think mining and herbalism from World of Warcraft.

Perfect World is a 3D MMORPG that takes place in a gorgeously designed fantasy world. Perfect world is definitely one of the best looking MMORPGs ever released and has one of the most in depth character customization system of any MMORPG.

Dekaron: 2Moons - There is instanced dungeons in which you get your own assigned dungeon, that only you can see kind of like World Of Warcraft.

Dekaron: 2Moons is a fusion-fantasy 3D MMORPG set in a violent, Middle Ages-like scenerio. Its realistic environment and explosive adventure make this extraordinary game much like watching a fast-paced action movie. You must journey into this magical world with hundreds of other adventurers and explore perilous dungeons and fantastical cities in the world of Trieste.

Talisman Online -1. Auction House - This game has an auction house and banking similar to World of Warcraft. In fact, just looking at the screenshots on this page shows that the game bears a strong resemblance to WoW. Talisman Online incorporates some of WoW's better ideas to make the game more player-friendly.
                       2. Combat - Combat is intuitive and borrows from World of Warcraft in several ways. It is an essential part, as with any MMO, of accomplishing your goals as a player. In order to build up your equipment and increase your talisman powers, you need to hunt monsters for points. The more points you have, the better your equipment upgrades can be.

Talisman Online is a free 3D multiplayer online role-playing game. It happened in an ancient fantasy world, people take adventure to enhance their magic skill to protect the peace of the world. But some omens showing the Evils are revived, so it's the time for you to defeat the Evils.

Don't have any contribution to this thread, though I must say this Perfect World screenshot is quite possibly the scariest/most disturbing video game image ever.

Holic.
Rappelz.
Flyff.
Grenada Espada.
There's a lot of freaking free MMOs out there- and a lot of them look really good, which makes me wonder why people play Maple Story.

which makes me wonder why people play Maple Story.

Because we can and it's FR-oh wait.

If nothing else, Maple Story at least has the most vibrant community of all the free MMOs that I personally have played (although I never did get very far in Flyff).

I tried out La Tale earlier this week but I couldn't get used to the controls and all it did was make me want to start playing Maple Story again. So I did :(

Looking really good =/= being really good. Out of those listed I can say most suck.

Perfect World does absolutely nothing quite well except the graphical aspect. 2Moons is a joke. They probably developed it in under 3 weeks. I haven't tried Talisman, but I doubt it does anything decently to hook up players.

Rappelz sucks shit more than all the others listed here. God that game was boring. I really wanted to like it, but it doesn't seem like they tried hard when working on the game. It's just not amusing at all.

Flyff was actually somewhat fun for a while, but the cash shop is a bit overpowered now, and the community is pretty bad. I could go on and on about free MMORPGs.
Better stick with WoW, Warhammer or whatever.

The only free MMORPG I remotely enjoyed recently was RF, and objectively I'll say it was pretty bad. I guess just having a huge bow that shoots beam was fun enough to keep me playing.

I don't think any of them are particularly good, but I do think all of them are better than Maple Story. Maple Story does have some nice 2D art (Especially the backgrounds), but with all the other free MMOs out there it makes me wonder why you would play Maple Story, unless you just have a ton of friends playing it.

Pretty much every MMO is the same anyway, frankly I don't see any real difference between Rappelz and WoW, aside from the fact WoW has better music and graphics. Oh, and playing with friends in WoW is a lot more fun I find. They're all endless grinds for levels and gear, so the only determining thing should be art style, really.

Out of the ones I've listed, I enjoyed Holic the most.

Guild Wars is a terrific Subscription-Free "MMO".
