Actually, I'm surprised this didn't happen sooner. Fleshlights have been around forever, I don't know what took them so long to put it on a electronic moving arm.

I've always assumed the Japanese would build the world's first sexbot.  This is just the first step down that road. :P

My money's on the Germans (I'd say the Italians but they've gorged themselves into a state of laziness on Artic Circle Candy).

A girl once told me Ninja Gaiden and a second controller could make her climax. That's much creepier.

... Why would she use Ninja Gaiden anyway? Wouldn't Rez be the more obvious choice?

I really don't think this is as strange as most of the stuff we read about weekly from Darkrider.

Agreed.  I can't imagine any japanophiles (or gamers somewhat knowledgeable about japan) being surprised by this.

And people are surprised by this?  What surprises me is that a supplement controller for eroge games hasn't been created until now, especially given the amount of eroge that's come out over the decades.  And, hey, this is Japan- the land with that kiddie Russian Roulette board game, that arcade game about jamming a giant finger into people's butts, and that Sega robot that kisses you.

Nah, the most revolting thing about Japan has to be that 5 year old sashimi that Zimmern has to eat on this week's episode of Bizarre Foods.

Yeah. Hello? Trance Vibrator? Rez had this figured out like 5 years ago.

No way they're going to beat out the perverts in Japan.  Japan already got the robot part down, now they just need a bigger one with extra functionality. O_o

If nothing else, you have to admit they're inventive and willing to try new things.

With the fist it looks like a high tech version of the Anal Intruder from Top Secret.

BTW gents, we've already got the first robot girlfriend.  And no, it wasn't in Japan.

Woo Canada.

Plenty of goofy things in that article, but my favorite has to be the description of him: "a 33-year-old software engineer who lives with his parents."  Can't really say I was surprised.

I'm ashamed to say that it took me a minute to figure out what it did.
