I say screw that entire idea. If they're gonna take the time an money to remake any of the FFs of the PS1 & PS2 era, why the heck would ya want em on a handheld and not a more powerful current gen system? Especially X and XII. They're fine as is.

Sony don't have the rights to anything from Square Enix. Though sometimes I wonder with FFVII, because the original and all it's spin-offs (except for Before Crisis and that shitty looking Snowboarding one) are on Sony consoles. But no, Square Enix can do what the hell they want with the FF series.

Only Interest was FFTA2. I played the other final fantasies in their young years. No new addition will catch my attention to play again, even if transfered from their original cartoonish pixelated form. If they remade FF Mystic Quest for the DS, I would turn against what I said in a heartbeat.
