Current progress on re-visiting old albums I used to dislike:

Pink Floyd - The Division Bell: torn. Musically, it's really good. Lyrically, Gilmour sounds like Bono and the lyrics are all CRAAAAAAWLING IIIIN MY SKIIIIIIIIN. THESE WOOOOOOOOOUNDS REQUIIIIRE ROGER.

Porcupine Tree - Stupid Dream: This is stupid.

Porcupine Tree - Deadwing: I am liking this a lot. REALLY reminiscent of some of the music from SMT: N and UT. Not sure what my original issue with it was.

Portishead - Third: REALLY no idea how I feel about this.

Up next is PT - Signify and King Crimson - Red.

I've been playing Sonic Youth's Teenage Riot a lot lately, possibly cause I'm depressed. :-/

Song of the moment: "John Vanbiesbrouck VS Chris Benoit" by Striver http://striverqc.bandcamp.com/album/as-dirty-as-it-seems

Striver's a punk/thrash crossover band from Quebec.  They kick ass.

The Boo Radleys - Four Saints.

I'm really liking C'mon Kids as a whole. It's the perfect soundtrack for a sleep-deprived 4PM when you can't tell if you wanna make out with someone or break every window in the nearest grocery.

The best part of the Video Games Live concert I saw in LA this past week was Lindsey Stirling's Zelda Medley.  She was dancing around on stage just like in the video and didn't miss a single beat on her violin.   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b3KUyPKbR7Q

My buddy from Combat Crisis plays guitar in this song.  It's called "Glory" by I-Know Brasco.  It's heartfelt hip-hop.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=94KVklsCzHg
