This kicks the crap out of the album version, especially the last minute and a half.
Yeah, pretty much. They should've gone with the long version for the album and, I don't know, dropped Sugar Daddy or something.
I've read that Rhiannon was a song they performed as Buckingham Nicks, at a faster pace than on the FM album. Maybe it was sorta like their live version. Sugar Daddy was the definitely the weakest McVie song, and she already had three other songs on the album... I guess they figured Nicks was unproven.
But I think they made a bigger mistake with Rumours by releasing Silver Springs as a B side. That blows my mind.
Anyway, now I'm back on an FM kick, listening to Fleetwood Mac (album) & Rumours on my dad's old turntable. I wonder how much a copy of the Buckingham Nicks album would run? Time to check out ebay.
