Sonata Arctica is a GREAT band....although I'm not really that hip with their cover of Fade to Black.

Anyway, back to the thread....SOTM: Joy Division - Atrocity Exhibition

Be Your Own Pet - Bunk Trunk Skunk.

It's a shame all their side projects sucked save a handful of songs.

Go figure, I like their cover.  However, it's not uncommon to hear good bands do not-so-good covers.  For example, I'm not at all fond of Firewind's cover of Breaking the Law.  Motorhead's cover is good, though.

Anyway, song of the moment is "Sonic Reducer" by Dead Boys.  I like the comment how the guy thought the chorus was "Sorry Medusa, I ain't no loser!" That's a pretty good shout-along lyric for a song about giving the finger to a stone-hearted ex-girlfriend. Plus, it's better than me wondering what the Andolucia region of Spain has to do with a song about being young, loud, and snotty. (Yes, I actually thought he was singing "Andolucia!" the first time I heard the song.)

Mai Yamane & Hideyuki Takahashi - Pushing the Sky

Got a little nostalgic and started to hear the soundtrack of the movie of Cowboy Bebop.

With some of the Grandia talk I've been involved in, this is my song of the moment: The mash-up that plays in Grandia 1 when you fight Nana, Saki, and Mio simultaneously.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tS8zxG90z_E&feature=related

I'm not the biggest BoC fan but "Roy G Biv" is definitely one of the coolest tracks ever.
