Band of the moment: Plantation http://www.plantationband.comThey were one of the bands we played with last night. They were added onto the bill maybe a day before the show, but they came out of nowhere and blew all of us away. No one at the place had even heard of them prior, but we're all fans now. They were a tough act to follow and my band drew the short straw of being next. Easily one of the best bands I've seen at this venue. The fun part was hearing everyone try and describe their sound. Some people said "early Soundgarden." I was saying "Kyuss-meets-Phish." Others were saying Clutch. Regardless, they're damn good. |
