"Clair de Lune" by Claude Debussy.  Without a doubt the single most beautiful piece of music I've ever heard.  Definitely one of my all time favorite compositions.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CvFH_6DNRCY

Debussy is an amazing composer.  When his songs come on our Classical Radio Station (a station I call "the most consistently tolerable" in the face of 100-too-many Top 40 Stations) I can easily let my mind go somewhere more pleasant.

I'm also a huge fan of Ravel.  He's also well adapted by other performers:
http://youtu.be/GKkeDqJBlK8 (Pavane for a Dead Princess; the 1 minute area is so poignant yet romantic...for a song about a "dead princess" the piece is surprisingly uplifting and relaxing)
http://youtu.be/E05l9LSYoyw (And a version of the song from Breath of Fire IV...which was somewhat surprising to hear IMO).

http://youtu.be/LWcpw3GAAms (Bolero; original)
http://youtu.be/yQOsUMbU9n4 (Same song by Pink Martini -- who give it a jazzy swing)
http://youtu.be/SqjqvkAXXD8 (By Angelique Kidjo, an African singer who did this brilliant acapella version)

Dice- all great stuff.

Buhloone Mindstate. All of it.

+1 to that.  Buhloone Mindstate is probably my favorite De La Soul album.

Kraftwerk - Computer Love.

This in particular is what's making me want to get some time off work so I can take a bus/train to Ann Arbor.

Apropos to maybe anything, The Stooges were from Ann Arbor, Iggy Pop, Bowie, and Kraftwerk all kind of influenced each other, and De La Soul sampled Trans Europe Express on Ghetto Thang.

Heavy Cross - by Gossip (Fred Falke Remix)

Warning: 8 minute long remix.
Ever have a song where the length of it just seems to whiz by?  This is one of them for me (a lot of videogame endings also manage this for me).  The 4-5 minute mark blows my mind, I love the less than typical 'singing' voice of Beth Ditto.

Murder Squad - Spraying Lead

I play stuff like this, Napalm Death and Entombed between classes to offset all the K-Pop I hear from students.

Scoundrel Days is sort of subtly bizarre.
