The history of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is now so complicated that every time I tell it I contradict myself, and whenever I do get it right I'm misquoted. So the publication of this omnibus edition seemed like a good opportunity to set the record straight--or at least firmly crooked.

It didn't when I got it at Launch in 2006, but you'd have to check with someone who has purchased it more recently...

While the Wii doesn't, the official component cables aren't too pricey on sites like Amazon and if you want to be really cheap Monoprice.com has their own offbrand for $3.52.

I still think that even after component cables the Wii looks pretty bad on HDTV's, but that's just my opinion. It isn't as bad as looking at PS2 games though.

In addition to progressive scan, not stretching can help a lot. Wish 480p could support proper widescreen, but it hadn't really been noticeable outside of video game graphics anyway.

It might vary by TV. The wii looks pretty sharp (relative terms) on my Bravia LCD,

LAWL. Anyway, it might be because I was playing these games in widescreen even when they didn't have widescreen support. Maybe I should put them in 4:3

Not having the proportions fucked up would probably help, yes!
