I totally thought this topic was about how Goth's take the joy out of fucking kittens.

Some people might argue that it's no less cruel than the ear-cropping and tail-docking practices done on doberman pinscher puppies.  I do not.  I think it's all bad.  Let the animals be as mother nature intended them. 

I am not 100% on this, but I've been told many times that tail-docking is done for the benefit of dobermans to prevent them from biting their own tails which could lead to infections.  Apparently they are prone to doing so if their tail is allowed to grow to full length.  And the ears is to promote cleaner ears and also prevent infections.

No, that's BS.

I'm not so sure the Ostrogoths or Visigoths were "hawt."  They were barbarians after all, and "hawt" is not a high priority trait for a warrior out to pillage, plunder, and intimidate the living daylights out of the people they ransack.

Literacy?  I learned about the Goths, the Vikings, the Huns, and Genghis Khan's legion on History Channel, dude. 

Still, it's kinda interesting how "goth" has changed so much.  From barbarians to, well, kitten piercers.  Ahh, how the mighty hath fallen.  The barbarians would respect the kitten because back then, those rat catching meow-machines were the most reliable form of pest control.
