Best Albums of 2008

Slumdog Millionaire Original Movie Soundtrack.  That's my fave album of 2008.

Sometime after 2008, I got Enslaved's Vertebrae and Origin's Anithesis and I have to add them both to my list.  Vertebrae is the "catchiest" Enslaved album I have heard yet and Antithesis is one of the most brutal albums I have ever heard.  Just that sweep riff in the middle of the Aftermath, holy cow.

I'm probably the only person in the world who still isn't sick of "Lollipop," lol..

Overplayed as all hell but I still like Lollipop. Dunno why. It's different, and I don't like Lil Wayne all that much. (People always compare it to T.I.'s Whatever You Like, which I don't get. Yeah, same producer but...) I like a few songs on Carter III, such as Tie My Hands, but overall I skip most of the CD. Maybe he got sick of that mixtape pace? He's got so damn many of them :P

My favorite album of this year is Dir En Grey: Uroboros

Ihsahn seems almost flawless throughout the entire album. The collaboration with Åkerfeldt couldn't be any better. Thoroughly enjoy the pieces very reminiscent of Anthems.

Unleashed - Hammer Battalion.

Sucker for old school Swedish death metal.
