Based on my review, I think you know that Valkyria Chronicles was my pick...

I would assume you guys would hand it either to Persona 4 or Fallout 3, but since this site seems a bit Japanese-centric I will safely assume that Persona 4 will win Game of the Year.

Gears 2 is game of the year for me, but RPG-wise, that goes for Valkyria Chronicles.

My initial thought was P4, but since P4 is basically an improved P3, I'm not sure it'll get it. Now I'm guessing it's Valkyria Chronicles, as it brought something new. That review is really tempting me to go get a PS3 to play VC.

Definitely Fallout 3 for me... very unexpected, but no question on this end. Probably followed by Tales of Vesparia or Lost Odyssey. Not a fan of the P... the music makes my testicles hurt.

I'm either expecting it to go to Fallout 3, P4, or VC.

(Though my personal one is Disgaea 3 for the ones I completed this year.)

We'll see. That is what I'm banking on too, but Fallout 3 might come out ahead.

Also, we'll be having a few special, individualized awards, that we haven't had in years past. Hope yall enjoy it when we post it in the coming days.

Persona 3 FES is my pick (Persona 4 ain't out here yet), but it's closely followed by Valkyria Chronicles and Fallout 3.

Don't forget, we've had the new Castlevania this year, too!

But I'm going with the Fallout 3/Valkyria Chronicles/Persona 4 contest, with VC just squeezing it...

I didn't play VC.

As much as I love P4 I'll have to admit that it is an improved version of an existing game while fallout 3 is a very ambitious project created from scratch. Bethesda created a truly fascinating world there so I think the award should go to them.
