Why is there no review of Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon DS here at RPG FAN? I know it's not been released in the US yet but it's easy to import.  I have read three reviews and it has scored 8 8.5 and a 9, but I would like to here what true RPGamers think  before I spend 30.00 ($45.00).

I spend six hours in a train to play it and I was satisfied. Crappy storyline, but great gameplay.

BTW I just finished my first online mode team "Shining Force" (my second team "Ogre Tactics" is a work in progress and will have critical hit rates of over 60% <3). Friend Code: 3437-7297-5164

Holland

Wow, I dunno if the boards can handle two Dutch posters...  There's only so much ox tail soup to go around.  :(

Yep, crap marketing and crap distribution. Releasing it right before the holidays was kinda suicidal.

I got my copy now and it is great gameplay. This is my first Firm Emblem game so I can't compare it to the Wii game.

The gameplay is pretty solid throughout the series...but the Wii game is severely lacking in the story and character departments. I can't wait until February so I can get my hands on Dark Dragon.

What? I knew we didn't have it yet but I didn't know we were like the past part of the world to get this damn game. WTF.

The storyline probably seems lame because it's just a remake of the original Fire Emblem for Famicom. Which was what 1990-ish? Eother way, the gameplay's always good.

I still need to beat the Wii game. :P

Has anyone got as far as constructing a team yet or are you just playing with any characters?
I am trying to hold on to.............
Marth (or game over) and  Shiida, Merric, Draug, Jagen, Hardin, Rickard.

I have lost Cain, Able, and Frey.

Being this is my first time playing Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon I don't know if there will be better characters along the way.

Is there such a thing as the perfect Shadow Dragon team I wonder?

NM can be completed with just about any team. I know some people have finished it with just facelss replacements and Marth.

Jagen isn't worth holding on to... because he's Jagen... A whole set of useless characters was named after him, so don't expect anything from him. Draug is okay, very speedy for a knight, but he doesn't gain much def. His whole def growth comes grom is class. If you want a good general, try Sedgar or Wolf.

You lost Cain, Abel and Frey? They're some of the better characters :(
