Any GW players out there? Its pretty much my only MMORPG, what with my slow dial-up connection and all. I haven't played it in a while, but probably will start again when they release the next expansion.

Played open beta for a week and grew utterly bored of it, it's not an MMO and it's not really any good. Mark my words, this the RPG version of Counter-Strike and yes that does mean the same sort fo people...

Well, fighting in a 8 vs 8 Guild Battle is Massivley Multiplayer Online enough for me!
Of course, I would play games like WoW if I had a fast internet connection and would actually pay to play games. I don't, though.

I bought GW and came to that same conclusion. The gameplay does get kind of boring after a while and the community isn't that great. I'm sure I'd be more fun playing with a bunch of people you know, but that applies to any type of game that allows multiple players.
If I ever get the urge to play this type of game, I pick Diablo II or Sacred.

GW's is good for starting out there's no doubt about that, and its also good if your low on requirments but mark my words once you 'taste' the real MMO's you'll know the difference.
