Considering how long it takes me to finish anything these days, I guess I can't complain.  SE cares what we think, but only because it affects their bottom line.  Given the choice, I would prefer to have a game for my PS3 not out of loyalty to Sony, but because my XBox360 is noisy and gets hot pretty fast.  I've been trying to not play The Last Remnant more than a couple hours at a time because of this.

But ultimately, I'd rather have a quality game delayed and avoid some of the issues that would turn people off.  The delay in localization is unfortunate, but nothing new.

Christ I hate some of the character designs. Especially that blonde fruitcake. "Okay! Everyone front and center!" Jesus christ Square what the hell is wrong with you. And the generic NPCs' clothes are even worst. I really like the world design, and love the pink haired cloud clones but goddamn. I need to go back to sleep.

I think it looks like it has potential, which surprises me. I like the more sci-fi look of it. I just hope it doesn't end up being more generic than it appears to be. I also hope it doesn't end up lacking a soul like all of SE's games these days.

I remember seeing the Fall 2008 Release Dates way back in the day. I LOL when I see the major delays. I'm so predicting this baby will come out in Fall 2010. Since they have to program the XBOX 360 version + translation.

I am still a little confused about the battle system. Do we have more information? Last I heard it involved action points but it seems real time in the video. Is it real time or turn based?

It's an evolution of ATB, I think you can keep selecting actions until it runs out.

the battle system intrigues me because what it could mean for Squares next mmo seeing as they use the same engine. as for the game itself seeing a girl kick ass like that gives me a kind of euphoric(sp?) feeling. since i have a ps3 i may import it to get a taste of the battle system. yay! for no reigon lock on ps3!
