Pretty good article on the fall of Felix.
I agree that he's trying to do the right thing, just going about it the wrong way.

Yeah, that was a really good article, and now that it was pointed out, yeah it makes sense. Cool stuff.

While I didn't see the webisodes I had forgotten about his role on New Caprica. That explains alot.
Update 2/14: Did anybody see last night's episode, and if so did anyone else recognize the brain surgeon? :p

I thought the first 4 episodes were amazing, and I know that 2/13 was necessary to set up the last 5 episodes, but it wasn't as exciting as what I had gotten used to with the kickass openers. Then again, there's something nice about not having everything be so intense all the time.

Btw, somebody pointed out to me yesterday that apparently Helen not only turned out to be the mother of all non-final five cylons but that she also banged one of the non-final five cylons back on New Caprica. (Or was it Regular Caprica?)
Though I'm still waiting for her to find out what Sal's been up to while she's been dead (also don't forget that Sal is essentially the father of all the non-final five cylons which makes all the fun things he's been up to all the more delicious).

hehe did you see it last friday ... i would say that was one of the most intense story arcs in the whole series
I have watched this series since Lorne Greene flew the BSG and no one could have told me it would end up with this much back "real sci fi" story line. I can see book from this that really tells the whole story behind the tin cans.

Yes! I was so worried it would be disappointing or lukewarm, but they managed to pull off an incredibly satisfying ending. Well done, Ronald Moore and David Eick, well done.

Spoiler:
Code:
Everybody Dies!
With that said.... Yay! No Galactica 1980 this time, and that alone makes me a happy panda. (Although we are getting that Caprica mini-series as well as yet another BSG sidestory so we still might end up with a Galactica 2010 after all.)
The rest of the ending was just as satisfying with good ends to those who deserved them, and bad ends to those who deserved them (this last part was especially satisfying).

Yes you do. Well, I for one enjoyed the last episode. It wasn't perfect and it got pretty metaphysical but it was a very fitting end to the series. There were quite a few "HOLY SHIT" moments and most of the loose ends were tied up but that was to be expected. Bring on the new T.V. movie and Caprica!

I enjoyed most of it, but didn't like the "divine hand in all of it" part.
Keep religion out of my scifi thanks.
At least B5 kept both sides of the discussion open rather than making a definite call.

I've heard a lot of people talking about this aspect.
Quick question about it (since I haven't followed the series "religiously" ... get it?!): was all this "divine hand" stuff just part of the dialogue, or did the series end with a very real "Deus Ex Machina" plot?
And if so, can I call it 'Deus Ex Galactica" ?!
