I should be on track toi beating DQ4 before DQ5 comes out. I've just got a few more things to do.

Dragon Quest IV on the DS was great, so I'll definitely purchase V at some stage.

It probably got expanded a lot in the DS version, story not being the focus of old DQ games, but even going by the original I'm going to agree with what he had to say. Game had a unexpectedly cool story.

I loved Dragon Warrior IV, as it was the second RPG I've ever played (DWIII was 1st), and I didn't give the remake for DS much of a chance. But, I just got DQV yesterday and squeezed in an hour, and I really really enjoy it. I like the pace of the game, the dialogue is charming, and the soundtrack just makes it even better. I don't have much else to say until I get further into it. Cheers.

I'm about caught up with where I was in the SFC version years ago. Then I blew all my money on casino tokens that didn't get me anything. I save beforehand since I'm messing around anyway, but that was pretty sad.

To the people playing it: how is it? I'm thinking of making a purchase today, and I'm not sure what to get.

You only need 10 tokens to start abusing the casino. Right now I've got enough buy three Metal King Swords from the two hundred gold investment.

(Too bad this casino has poo-poo payouts and a lousy selection of games. Fortunately, there looks to be another casino out there, and with Blackjack and Hookers too.)

To the people playing it: how is it? I'm thinking of making a purchase today, and I'm not sure what to get.

It's a lot quicker than I thought it was going to be
Code:
I had already made it past the first time skip in under 5 hours (too bad I'm currently held up trying to abuse the first casino).

Well that got kind of dark.

Code:
It's all cute fun kidventure + nubby cat and then all the sudden it's like YOUR DAD IS DEAD AND NOW YOU ARE A SLAVE LOL.

Harshin' my grills.

And people are already upset about Papas getting renamed even though that's kind of a stupid name.

Have you played a Dragon Quest game before and enjoyed it? If so, buy it. It's well worth it, and offers more than DQ4 and DQ8, in different aspects which I will not indicate.

Well i'm currently playing all i have to say is. You can have up to 70 monsters and three of the same type. Plus there are new monsters to get. Some of these monsters are from Dragon Quest 7 and 8 Respectively. Namely the Jailcat i have in my party.

Here's a list to what is added.

I think I'm stuck... If this were the SNES version I'd go to the tower on the centre island and get the magma staff to open the path to the cave. But the layout of the tower has changed drastically! I got some claws from it, but I don't know if there is anything else to do there :/
