I hope that is a bad picture because low res aside, the PS2 version looks better. Unless it isn't the same frame, it seems they removed the lights (energy thingy, power transformers or whatever - forgive my english) from the background.
The other picture looks good though.

I'm really excited for this game, I will probably get a vita next month for this and hot shots!

Wow the overly detailed textures in the PSVita version make it look like Operation Flashpoint. That's a bad thing!

Is not like people play MegaTen games for the graphics anyway. Is all about the aesthetics.

That route better be not your first route of the game because it might KILL you right in the first scripted battle.

Yep, first route. I go right for the jugular.
And I'm at the second. My GOD is she out for blood.

Day 8 now. Smooth progress so far, but it's getting tough fast.

I'm convinced the only reason that fight is hard at all is because your party is so limited.  After I got past that battle I had pretty much no difficulty with the AO route whatsoever, and I'm on my first playthrough as well.

40 MAG and Holy Dance/Blitzkreig makes for some pretty swift fights as well, I guess, but that's beside the point.

I got the AO ending not long ago. Without Beast Mode Jungo and Phys Repel on him,  that final form would be a nightmare.

Psyc Repel works better on a magic-type character like Otome and Fumi. For physical fighters, I throw in the Barrier Auto-Skill.

Thats great..... because of the all the SMT titles that came out on PS2 surely the most difficult to come across is Persona 3... yea that one isn't available at all....

Seriously... I'm sick of the same titles getting re-released 4 times, often on multiple platforms, while trying to find a way to play a slew of other games that deserve just as much acclaim is like panning for gold....then having to take all your nuggets and deposit them in your bank account to pay nearly a hundred bucks on e-bay for a copy you pray is in decent condition!

I just saw multiple used copies of persona 3 for the ps2 in gamestop directly across the way from more used copies of the psp incarnation..... but you know what? I didn't see one copy of Devil Summoner, and I'm pretty sure they only had 1 part of the digital devil trilogy.....

Sorry, but I'm not going to complain about anything being made more widely available.  And it makes sense to start off with their most popular titles.

And it's not just about the difficultly (or lack thereof) of finding the game.  PS2 classics mean they can be played on PS3s without BC (i.e., the vast majority of PS3s).
