"And then..."
We keep waiting. :(
Seriously though, the soundtrack seems to be fantastic. There hasn't been one track that haven't liked yet on the official site.
I'm assuming Shoji Meguro is on soundtrack duty as usual? The man is so versatile. Easily my favorite video game composer. Digital Devil Saga and Nocturne are two of my favorite soundtracks and show a very different side of his sound. Most people know him mostly for P3 and P4 now.

No idea who's working on the music.
Pretty sure Meguro is there working on the music maybe along with some of the dudes that worked doing new arrangements for the Persona 2 games on PSP. Atsushi Kitajoh and Toshiki Konishi did a really good job with the music on those ports.

Too bad then =/ Those weren't his best creations.
Either that or I'm not into hip hop much.

They're equally good but in different ways... mostly. Some of the best tracks though are amongst his best period, and wouldn't be out of place in SMT:N or DDS.

If you listen to the full soundtracks it's not really that full of hip-hop, especially P4. They're both excellent OSTs, actually. I'm sure you know how they've had live concerts for the music of P3 and P4. That's how much more popular these games and soundtracks are compared to past games. I'd kill for a live concert of a his Nocturne and DDS soundtracks.

Oh man, I can imagine a medley with all the "Hunting" battle themes from DDS. That would be pretty awesome.

Would be so epic! Meguro definitely knows how to make a solid rock battle theme.

I just decided to Wiki Shoji Meguro and here's a fun fact: "Born in Tokyo, Japan, Shōji Meguro majored in hydrodynamics at the College of Industrial Technology at Nihon University."
WHAT?! So random! Shoji: "Screw hydrodynamics, I'm going to make awesome video game soundtracks that people will enjoy for years to come."

Wow, that song is great! Should be on PS3 though, it sucks that the only HD Megaten is P4A which isn't even an rpg. Anyways, Nocturne should be up PS2 Classics, fantastic game so far. Didn't even have much trouble with The Matador. If you know what your doing, you can beat him with one death, just note what resistance you need. People have over exaggerated his difficulty,.

Most people that had a hard time with Matador were new to the SMT series as a whole and didn't really understand that kind of game.

I suppose, they especially as it came around the same time as FFX, and SMT was pretty new in NA then.

I'm playing Nocturne right now and I'm close to the Matador fight so I've been training and fusing new demons. My question is, at any point in the game do I unlock a compendium for my demons? Some of them I don't want to fuse because I've fused good skills onto them; I don't want to lose them yet.

Yeah, there's a compendium, I can't remember exactly when though - I think it's pretty early.

Cool, thanks. I was getting a little worried since I haven't seen it yet. I'm ready to take on the Matador! I hear he's the first problem boss and I'm playing on Hard mode, so I'll see what happens.
