P2 EP is my most anticipated game as of now. I'm glad I didn't continue my playthrough of the PS1 version. If P2 IS is any indication , the new translation is gonna be so much better. I WANT THIS GAME

God-tier King Frost get. Ice Boost, Mabufu, Ice Dance, and Resist Fire.
(He has innate Force/Lightning resist, and drains Ice!)

Come at me, Septentrion.

@Justice: EP's translation holds up really well.

I realize that EP's translation was pretty good but I'd like a translation more like IS, it feels authentic and has so much personality. besides it's annoying to have 2 different translations for each game. with a new translation by the same IS team it's gonna feel more cohesive

I keep coming back to the official page to listen to the gorgeous BGM and to see if there was any new additions. Maya looks soooo good. the navigation clicking sounds sure bring back the memories. I need this game in my life right now.

I know these re-releases of P1 and P2 have new diafficulties, but something I'd really welcome is some sort of rebalance.

An optional mode, of course, where they could lower the encounter rate but balancing out XP, Macca and demons accepting to join you.
I understand the high random encounter as all of those things are needed but my personal opinion is that there comes a time it does get in the way of the story.

From P2 which I'm still playing and plan to finish (unlike P1) even though easy is super easy the battles take a lot of the joy because they take too long, which isn't necessarily a problem but it becomes one because they are too frequent.

Honestly the high random encounters rate in Innocent Sin didn't bother me as much as I thought it would. I just switched the difficulty to easy , skipped the battle animation and used auto battle and most of the encounters were a breeze.

It was more the dungeon design that somehow was unappealing. those spacey , maze-like floors were annoying.

I am gglad they are doing part 1 but I am not sure why they did part 2 first ( even though I am glad it was because it was never localized before)

I thought Innocent Sin was "Part One" and EP was "Part Two"

You thought correctly.  Matrix doesn't know what he's talking about.

Oh and of course there was the spell that repels any encounter with lower level demons. I forgot its name. That was a life saver

Pretty much this.

Now that I have access to a lot of the item that lowers the encounter rate things are more manageable but still, like you said, the dungeon design is a problem itself.
Not to mention that dungeon you are supposed to get lost to move on. Luck it wasn't that big of a dungeon but it still keeps you scratching your head until you run around like a rat in a maze just to realize you're supposed to go back to the some spot 3 times.
