Nice. I also never saw much use to it, but now I can't argue with Nintendo.
Also, don't forget to link your 3DS to your Nintendo Club account before you add both FE and SMTIV, or else it won't count.

With SMTIV on the corner I'm getting again this urge to finish at least one SMT game I'm somewhat in the middle, DDS. It feels a lot like Nocturne but on the other hand it feels much more approachable. Sure I only have 10 hours of gameplay on it but I don't feel like I'm always at a disadvantage. Apart from a few boss skills which you should prepare for in advance it doesn't seem punishing. I'm liking it a lot so far.

I think this will make me buy Fire Emblem now. I tried to avoid it for so long, and now I know I won't even play it for a long time because of SMTIV, but free $30 for the Eshop is a really good deal.

I get $30 credit because of my love for these two series. I can't complain.

It'll probably all go towards DLC for one/the other/both anyway.

I had read IGN's review and it didn't explain anything. If anything it made me confused but in the comments someone recommended the NintendoLife review and this one gives a great idea of what to expect of the game, the features and more. Even digging for information for some months now there was a lot of stuff I just found out about SMTIV by reading this review.

One thing I found out which sound great is the "app points" you gain, but now it seems you can use them in much more ways like, upgraded space for more demons or skills, negotiating tools, experience boosters, and hacks to lower MP costs, raise the level cap for demon fusion, regenerate HP or MP as you walk.

Sorry for mentioning IGN's review. I think I'll go hide in the corner and pretend it didn't happen :)

If this is old, sorry, but Soul Hackers has been discounted everywhere, including digital. Now it's $29.99.

This offer will end tomorrow, 14th of July. So anyone who wants to purchase this game with the $30 you get from the FE:A + SMTIV promotion deal... tough luck :P

Popmatter's game reviews are worse than IGN's. Their review of Devil Summoner 2 (the Raidou one) was especially god what the hell. They had a very... odd interpretation of why the game let you talk to demons, and didn't seem to be aware that DS1/2 are pretty lighthearted by SMT standards. (Less-so 2 than 1 but I mean).

Fuuuuuu I wanna play DS2 now.
