Since some of us have known one another for damn near a decade now, I was wondering if there is an interest in creating an RPGFan community on one of the internet's many social networking sites.  It could be a community on LiveJournal or a Facebook group or neither or both.  Right now I'm just trying to gauge interest; we can get the particulars down later.

What do you think?

Eh, we kinda tried that awhile back on LJ. I think the forums end up being our community, since they're both official and convenient. For me, I don't see a point to having an external community. :\

Facebook sounds like a better idea than Livejournal. I don't know anyone who goes on Livejournl anymore. We'll just have to wait to see other responses to this thread.

Yeah I was also going to say more people are on facebook than livejournal these days, so it might be worth looking into...

Mark is right as far as LiveJournal goes, I doubt many people are even on there. Facebook on the other hand, while I haven't touched it and don't really plan to, sounds like it may be worth trying.

Well let's see.  grade 7... 12. Ah there. So I was only 12 years old when I actually started touching a computer but until the past few years, my computer use was limited to flash games, Neopets, and EBaum's World.  By then, I'm pretty sure facebook was alive.

Facebook definitely, plus it could be another form of advertising for you guys too depending on how involved the community there got, not saying that's a problem now or anything.
