I like the graphics.
But seriously, is this game going to be any good because I heard the PS2 version was horrendous?

Reports I have read said the battle system isn't as messed up but the AI is horrible. The few strengths of ToB seem to have carried over to the sequel.

Played the demo. The graphics were last gen, the environments are generic, and the story's boring.
Pass.

Anyway, it's a dread that nobody knows the name for, like those little square plastic gizmos that close your bread bags. I don't know the name for those either."

I wouldn't call it crappy. It's certainly generic, but the battle system is fun, the music is good and the story is unobtrusive, unlike a few little pieces of shit called SO4 and IU. The story gives enough incentive to actually go to the next plot point and it moves at a rather brisk pace, however predictable it may be. The graphics are not that great though, and there is a shit load of background blurring going on. It's not a 60 dollar game, but I'd buy it over the aforementioned games anytime.

So far I am enjoying it. I didn't get far into the PS2 game, but I can see myself getting a little further into this one before my gaming ADD kicks in.

Well I didn't shut the game off before the first cutscene was over so it's already better than SO4 in my book. Graphically it certainly isn't up to par with most UE3 games but it runs very well which is kind of surprising for a non western dev working with the engine. Textures in this game aren't nearly as good as say LO. The story characters seem to get the most attention to detail but eveything else so far has been just "decent".

I'm going to give this game a chance. I didn't like the first one at all. My expectations aren't too high, so we'll see what happens.

I think it's a great game so far. Not sure where all the hate came from.

All right, we are going to use a fan brush here and uh why don't you take some hunter green and we are going to put a happy little bush right down over here in the corner there and that'll just be our little secret and if you tell anyone that that bush is there I will come to your house and I will cut you.
