WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE. I just threw up because of those pictures. I hate you all.
On another note...I am enjoying this game quite a bit. The story is a bit predictable and bland, but overall it is a fun game.

All right, we are going to use a fan brush here and uh why don't you take some hunter green and we are going to put a happy little bush right down over here in the corner there and that'll just be our little secret and if you tell anyone that that bush is there I will come to your house and I will cut you.

This game got pretty bad reviews elsewhere; but then again, so did Magna Carta, and I liked that. Tellingly, none of the reviews I saw compared it to or even mentioned the first game, as if they were just reviewing the game because they had to, not because they liked the first game. :P That and the lopsidedly low scores of the critics compared to generally higher user reviews makes me distrust the critic reviews. Guess I'll have to play and find out for myself.

Is this game better than Star Ocean 4?

Its easily better. Gameplay-wise and story-wise. Of course, I'd say SO4 is pretty poor in both those areas. But I'm having enough fun with it that I don't feel gyped for paying full price.

you've got a nice rack at least.
Her racks have spots and bruises.
Anyway, is MC2 connected to MC1?
When you say her you mean the poster who placed those pictures up there to begin with. Right?
(Or is the poster the blond chick?

In which case WTF!

Since I like the gameplay in this game and think the presentation is good, I would say that I like this game more but the combat in SO4 is better IMO.

I never played the PS2 iteration, but I read that it was basically a long linear path through the game.
Is this game the same, or is it an open world ala FF12 etc.

It's pretty linear, though there are sidequest available nearly throughout. Can't personally compare it to MC: ToB, though, haven't played that one.
