Tetris.

For an option that's easier to find and less blatantly obvious of a recommendation, how about Picross? It's something that doesn't follow the Tetris mold and is pretty damn awesome.

Professor Layton, maybe?

I liked Meteos and Picross quite a bit as well, and Puzzle Quest, but it's a puzzle/rpg.

Oh, and I hear they're working on something called Picross 3D...

It's called Doki Doki Majo Shinpan. Didn't know it was a puzzle game though.

Also Dr. Mario's on DSiWare now. Haven't played it yet but you can never go wrong with Dr. Mario.
