This question may have been asked before, but if it has I could not find the thread.......... so here goes.
Whats your favorite Ds game, only one. I guess it will be an RPG............. or will it?
Mind would be Super Mario 64, although I tried it again last week and I can't get used to the thumb controller.

Hands down. Chrono Trigger. I've played it way too many times on SNES and PS1, but still. Its a classic. almost finished the game on the DS now. I never get bored of this game 8-)

Trace Memory without question. Best DS game I've ever played and I've played many. That DS game was a keeper for me... but I traded it to Tomara for one of her hand-stitched NES-controller bracelets and some Dutch licorice.

It's probably too soon, but I'll go ahead and say Rhythm Heaven.

Is it just me or is it really sad when your best game for a system is a direct port of a game from over three console generations ago? This has nothing to do with my hatred for CT, I'd say the same thing if somebody said their favorite PSP game was Star Ocean 1.
But anyway, I have no idea if I could narrow down my favorite DS games to just one game that I liked above all others. I've liked so many for so many different reasons...It's probably Elite Beat Agents, but Advance Wars: Days of Ruin is right next to it.

I feel similarly, and I think Chrono Trigger's pretty great! Well, I'd feel a bit different for the FF/DQ remakes since they're significantly changed, and I'm admittedly biased in favor of DQ. Then there's games like the Phoenix Wright titles that we didn't get even in fan translated form (well, fully) before their DS debut.
Anyways, I don't think I can narrow it down to a single title either. I'm usually terrible there anyway, but the DS has a lots of really great games yet I don't think there's any that are so definitively ahead of others that there's simply no competition. I'd have an easier time simply listing favorites... which I may as well do actually.
Phoenix Wright
Every Dragon Quest title but Joker (didn't play it enough)
New Super Mario Bros.
The World Ends With You
Lunar Knights
Mega Man ZX
The DS is definitely my favorite current platform, the PS2 doesn't really count anymore.

I can't narrow it down either, but I'll list my top 5 (in no order)
The World Ends With You
Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow
New Super Mario Bros.
Advance Wars: Days of Ruin
Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin

Chrono Trigger.
But if it doesn't include ports/remakes then it would be out of these:
The World Ends With You
New Super Mario Bros.
Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia

It's a tossup between Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia and the first Phoenix Wright game.

There's still a lot of games for the DS I haven't played, but out of the ones I have played, I really gotta say I loved Hotel Dusk. The slow-scrolling text the first time through made me want to tear my hair out, though.
