In terms of plot value WoW pretty much spirals downward after you hit level 60.  But then the whole space goats bit pushed it for me.

Edit: Actually, I did enjoy the death knight story up until the crappy ending.  Although I suppose that's technically before 60 just as much as the blood elf noob areas were.

Phantasy Star Universe and Monster Hunter say hi.

I've never played Monster Hunter, but I guess PSU is about right. PSU actually had a pretty well-balanced class system, the thing that sucks is the art style of the game. I guess an action RPG just plain wouldn't work in an MMO setting though, would have to make people go into fields in parties. Though, I guess some could argue that's what a lot of MMOs already do with an instance system.
