EDIT: Also found a really nice vid of Fire Temple, the first instanced dungeon in the game. The picture is a little dark, but you can get a good idea of how the game plays and the GUI.

I have been waiting for this since they announced it last year (I think it was last year).  I have had a really bad MMO itch that I have been fighting for a little over a year or so now, I want the sensation to be orgasmic in some weird gamer tantric way.  You're character looks beautiful BTW...

Just a heads up, NCSoft has finally put up the information on the collectors edition and some nice high-res screenshots. This doesn't include the items that GameStop is promising in their version and may be in addition.

The CE is worth it for the wings alone, as they are 1 million kinah to buy in-game. At level 30, thats alot of cash. Also undocumented is that each wing upgrade not only gives you more flight time, it also increases flight speed, though the current tooltips don't mention it.

Also, I thought i'd show you guys the wings that are currently available in the game (ver. 1.2 in Korea)




First Image - Starter wings, automatically obtained at level 10. Flight Timer is unmodified at 1 minute.
Second and Third Images - The level 30 wings +30 second Flight Time, $1 million Kinah. I think they might be armor-dyed but its the same item. This is the pre-order wing bonus (Flight time bonus increased by +10 sec. to 40 for NA release). Unknown Flight Speed Bonus. About +25% from my observations.
Fourth Image - Level 40 wings +60 seconds Flight Time, $12 million Kinah. Unknown Flight Speed Bonus. I've seen this one in action and its a good +100% at least if not more.
Fifth Image - Level 50 wings +45 seconds Flight Time, +100 HP, free with completion of all campaign missions. Unknown Flight Speed Bonus. These aren't available in the version i'm currently playing.

Just got my pre-order keys also. FYI If you have pre-ordered in a GameStop store, go there and ask for your pre-order box. Apparently NCSoft sent out a bunch of DVD keepcases with a plastic beta access card.

Any idea how to sign up for the beta, id like to give it a try before I plunk down any cash for a pre order.  I mean it looks interesting, but I wanna make sure it runs ok for me and stuff like that, and ive checked the official site and have seen stuff about when the events are happening, but no info on how to get into em.

Well they are supposed to be having an open beta closer to retail, but for access to the closed beta events you need to either pre-order or nab one during a website giveaway. My best advice is to keep checking the official site http://www.aiononline.com/us/ or AionSource http://www.aionsource.com/.

If anyone has pre-ordered and gotten into the beta events, please speak up so we can meet up in game. I'll post my details here when the servers go live.

UPDATED - This weekend's beta event includes the Elyos side also, level is capped at 10 since they want us testing the localized content in the starter areas but they will be saving the characters through all the events leading up to open beta.
