Looking for something new? A game that will simultaneously capture your interest while freeing your spare time? Look no further than Progress Quest, a zero player RPG.

Progress Quest is a text-only single player or MMO much like Everquest or WoW. The twist is, after you create a character, the game takes care of the rest: Heading into the wild, slaying monsters, grabbing loot, accepting quests -- it's all automated. It's stupid. It's weird. And yet I can't look away.

"Play" this "game" and you'll either think, "What the hell?" or "Where have you been all my life?"

P.S. Any other PQ players around?

It's interesting for like ten minutes. After that I didn't care anymore.

Being able to play as a dung elf is awesome, though.

I find it hard to feel like I wasted my life with Progress Quest when I can progress while I make a sandwich, run to the store, go to bed, or vacation at the opposite end of the Earth.
