Extra-regional PSN account advice
«

So, I've set up my US PSN account on my English PS3 and I can get into the US PS Store, but there are a couple of things I wanted to know:
Firstly, can I add my debit card to pay for things if, a) it isn't tied to a US address, and, b) is already tied to my UK account?
Secondly, if I were to purchase a PSX title from the US PS Store, would I be able to play it on my PAL machine?
Cheers for any help! I don't really fancy forking out $10 for a game I can't play! :)

You will require a telly that can run NTSC games, but that'll not be a problem, I'm sure. Any games / demos you download you can also access using both your NA and your PAL stored profiles.
Not too sure about the payment side of things, but hey, if you do manage to buy something, at least you know it'll work. :P

He doesn't mean that Interac shit, he means Visa Debit or something similar.
Goddamn Canada, get with the times.
(And apologies Gately, I'm assuming you wouldn't have understood what EC meant.)

The title I was after (FF VII) actually appeared in the European PS Store anyway, so it's kinda a moot point, now! But it's still good to know that I can almost certainly run anything I download!
Anyone know which version of FF VII it is? I seem to remember at the time that you guys over the pond didn't get Emerald and Ruby Weapons in you version, but us Brit-landers did, but it was corrected for the US

I'm pretty certain Emerald and Ruby were in the initial NA release, are you thinking of FFX mayhaps? We got the dark aeons in FFX, but there's a good reason for that. ...Apparently, FFX International and its additions came out in Japan BEFORE we even got FFX. You've got to laugh. :P
