I don't know, I didn't think that the last season was all that good. I haven't seen any of the recent DVD-movies.
Hopefully the break will have given them some good inspiration.

I <3 Futurama too. I still haven't seen all of the made-for-DVD movies, but I really need to.

Yeah, cool news. I didn't care for the second movie, but the other three were good. First one and last one were awesome. I got the last one on Bluray and it looks freakin' fantastic. Easily the best looking animated Bluray I have.
On a side note, what's up with The Simpsons? A lot of last season was downright awesome, and I'm not the only one to think that.

I have yet to see Into the Wild Green Yonder. Other three movies are fairly enjoyable though.

I'm cautiously optimistic. I liked Futurama in the beginning, but the latter seasons weren't that great. I have a feeling it'll be like Family Guy: start off good (back from cancelation) and go back to being mediocre.

Good news everyone!
Family guy really sucked bad there for awhile (I always tune into the Sunday night line-up, shitty or not). However in the last season or so, they've rebounded somewhat and the show got back on track to a degree.
Regardless, I'm pretty pumped. Hopefully the episodes are decent.

I liked the last season. I don't see what's so bad about it.

Oh man I've missed this series, I watch the reruns every night on Fox8. Good to see they gave them another chance.

After seeing tonight's episode I really have to agree with that.
Professor Layton parody ftw.

Saw the Beast with a Billion Backs. Meh.
But I still love the series. I just think they're better off sticking with the half-hour format.

Sad news, supposedly fox is looking to recast alot of the major characters due to not being able to meet the original voice actors salary demands...this includes fry..bender..mom..kip...this is just crap. They say it may be a simpsons sort of thing where it works out in the end..but god help us if it doesnt.

Some linkage.
I don't think they're asking for too much, considering how much work Billy West, John DiMaggio and Maurice LaMarche actually do. They're the entire cast save a few characters.
