Took 6000 hours to make with a team of 2 people. (One programmar, one artist). It's a game in top down JRPG style that focuses on story and "body snatching" as you transfer character to character.

Not sure if this really counts as a RPG. It's incredibly amateur but its nice seeing this style of game on Community Games. Hopefully more independent, RPGMaker-style RPGs are to follow. Community Games on Xbox get indy games more exposure than PC gaming ever could. The average low-selling Community game makes about $1000 profit. A decently selling game can make about $10,000. The video kind of makes the game look worst than it plays, so try it out in the game marketplace.

Edit: It's 200 MS Points ($2.50)

I thought the demo was entertaining enough.  When I have some extra points, I might give the full game a try.

Bought it, gotta support games like this especially for 2.50.

It's pretty fun so far, hopefully the story holds up. Dialogue is a bit amateur but not annoying or bad.

Has anyone had issues of parental controls popping up on the demo?

I checked and rechecked. I don't have parental controls up, but it says I can't play community games, even though I have solar and it plays fine. WTH? :(

Too bad, because it looks fun.

That's weird Lucca. You try turning them on and then off again?

Were you not logged into XBox Live when you tried to play?  That's the only reason I can think of that you'd get that error (you can't play Community Games offline).

As the OP has noted, this is more of an adventure game than an RPG. That said, it's also a surprisingly clever adventure game, even if the writing is a bit... overwrought.

At least it's not littered with spelling errors and such.

I'm probably going to be hated for this comment: I actually think I draw and graphic-design better than the artist they snatched...

I just finished it. Some pretty good plot twists, especially near the end.

And I agree the portrait art is pretty bad

No, I was logged in.

I'll try turning parental controls off and on again and see if that fixes it. Thanks guys. :)

Holy fuck crap christ jesus goddamn, that art is utterly insidious. I can see this game maybe having an art style like IWBTG or Knytt Stories, but it doesn't manage that with any semblance of style. I don't want to sound like a complete dick, but what the fuck. Was this game's art drawn in fucking MS PAINT?

Gross.
