That's nothing new.  People committed suicide over the deaths of John Lennon and Kurt Cobain too.

I told myself after Jackson's death that the real tragedy is that he wouldn't ever be able to clear up the molestation allegations.

you can read this story on a few sites. But apparently it's a hoax: Chandler hasn't admitted to anything.

But if Jackson indeed did not molest the young boys (now men), it'd be nice if they were honest about it. :P

And also, I find people cheering about death - anyone's death - to be pathetic and disgusting. These people think of themselves as just and right, but all they're doing is perpetuating more filth into the world. People who can speak so easily of killing others have no idea what life and death is truly about.

Without getting into the specifics of the Jackson story, I need to take some time out of my 'catching up on old posts' quest to commend these words. The ease with which people can glibly and smugly condemn another person's life is shocking. If you happen to be one of those people direct your own misplaced sense of righteousness towards your own misanthropy.

Generally I agree except for people that commit atrocious acts of genocide. And even then I wouldn't *cheer* so much as solemnly accept it as karma doing as karma does.

That being said even if Jackson did fiddle around with children, which I REALLY DOUBT HONESTLY, that's not compared to what, like, Mussolini did to Italy.

No, the media doesn't... but the hometowns of the deceased will make sure everyone around does.
