Nibelung Velesti-ing their asses.

Yeah, the game looks great.  Lezard sadly reminds me a bit of Harry Potter.  I don't know, something about character's faces dont do justice for the games artwork; otherwise they're beautiful.

VP: Lenneth FMV's can be found on You Tube for anyone who's interested (PSP-less or otherwise).

Whatc an be said that hasn't been?
If only they'd release the artifact box version over here. =/
How much is that thing anyways?

VPL's Lezard was also called 'Harry Potter on crack', so meh...

Looks pretty awesome. I have no idea what was going on, but it looked cool.

But the battles! Oh God, the BATTLES!

Seeing how I am an enormous tri-Ace fan, I cannot wait until VP2.  This trailer wasn't all that great (well, it would have been had it not been for the cosplay and awful English voice acting, which it could have definitely done without), but I still enjoyed it.

I just wish that VP: Lenneth wasn't such a crappy port, otherwise I would have called it the year of tri-Ace when it comes to RPGs (even though they didn't handle the port, but still).  Well, if VP2 turns out to be one of my favorite RPGs ever, then definitely yes, in my opinion, it would have been the year of tri-Ace, with the details on their Xbox 360 RPG coming soon.

I'm curious as to where you heard the X360 game isn't an RPG. As for the VP port, there's some graphical issues, and /loading/ for the menu, despite the system having more ram in all areas than the original PSX. Incidentally, the porting is being handled by the same company that did the ports for FFIV-VI and CT to the PSX, Tose.

Edit: Those issues won't stop me from getting it though. Paying $40 to replace a damaged game, with some new extras and new flaws, beats the hell out of paying $100+ for the exact same game I already have, and already nearly-completed.

Are there any PSP ports of RPGs that have actually been good?  A PSP was tempting me for a while with all the RPGs that it was getting, but when I hear that port after port suffers from weak visuals & awful load times, I'm kind of glad that I didn't splurge.

Aside from the live-action part, that was a rather pretty trailer despite the low resolution.  If my major problems with the first game are fixed (mostly the fact that the story was so fragmented & had little to do with the actual gameplay), I think I'm going to really like this one.

The VP stuff was already explained, but where in the hell did you get the incredibly false information that the tri-Ace Xbox 360 game wouldn't be an RPG? :D
