There's no way this could be DLC without it being a full-on downloaded game.  With various characters getting whole new attacks and things like attack timing, # of frames and hitboxes being altered, the original data on the disc would be useless.  You have to remember that there's a LOT going on here, despite the fact that on the surface, it doesn't really look like it.

Unless they include a patch that allows you to install the game's data to the disc, then you could have DLC out the wazoo to "fix" the content of the game.

In any case, I called Hazama and I want Hazama. :)

Given the fact that there are XBoxes out there with 20 gigs or less of hard drive space, requiring you to download your multi-gig game to your HD so that you can download DLC which makes that disc useless is kind of...well...stupid.

Hazama looks fucking pimp. Hopefully a better quality version comes out soon.

Info courtesy of the DustLoop forums -

Noel Vermillion's final form!

A new character will be added to the roster for the console version, named Mu-12 (μ-12-):

Height: 157 cm
Weight: 48
 Birthday: January 7
Blood Type: A
Birthplace: The 13th Hierarchical City "Kagutsuchi"
Hobbies: ??
Likes: ??
Dislikes: The world
CV: Kanako Kandou

The awakened, true form of Noel Vermilion. Her hatred for the world has increased substantially, making her aggressive towards everything. The name of the huge sword on her back is "Kamigoroshi no Tsurugi Kusanagi" ("Sword of the God-Slayer, Kusanagi").

Beginner Mode returns, allowing simple input for special moves and throws.

There will be new stages in addition to the arcade version stages, and the existing stages will recieve a graphical revamp. There will be more than 11 stages altogether.

Game modes:

Tutorial: Practice and work to learn the basics of the game system.
Arcade: Enjoy the fighting and story of the original arcade version.
Versus: Fight with other players or against the CPU.
Score Attack: Compete for the top score through 15 consecutive matches.
Training: Freely practice special attacks, combos, etc..
Challenge: Complete special missions available for each character.
Legion: Defeat and conquer enemy locations on a map.
Story: Experience the story of each character.
Gallery: Listen to BGM and voice acting, look at artwork, and watch cutscenes.
Replay Theater: Watch the replay data from network mode.
Network: Online game ranking, players can save replays.

I think I might have missed some other stuff. I'll check after class, unless someone else already posts it later.
