On the other hand, tsundere type girls in anime and video games are totally cool/badass, but it's waaay easier to date a tsundere in a love adventure than it is in real life.  I recall someone saying that if he met a tsundere type girl in real life, he'd be completely put off.   Oh yeah, tsundere= tough girl with a soft side.

But in terms of that whole character dislike reflecting real-life preferences, I've said it countless times before.  I've hung out with Shion and Rinoa type girls and found them to be pieces of work.  And in looking at the girls the mains could date in Persona 3 and 4, Yuko in Persona 3 was more my type than any of the other girls in those games.  Even with characters like Junpei in P3, I thought he was totally awesome.  He's just like the guys I would normally hang out with.  Yet other people found him annyoing.

It seems that no character can annoy me completely. Junpei is, yes, annoying, but he's supposed to be, and where P3 is otherwise pretty serious and dark, I found him to be great comic relief. The Operation Babe Hunt was the best.

The only times when he genuinely annoyed me was when he remained pissy for like a MONTH that the MC remained the leader of the group. And then when
Code:
he bitched at the MC for bringing that 13th Shadow to town with him - yes, as if the MC had ANY IDEA.

I'd have to say that Cielo in DDS is slightly annoying.

Cielo turns badass in DDS2, sort of.

He also gets a lot more useful in DDS2.

Cielo is better in DDS2 because the "Null Nerve" skill exists, and his "Weak to Ailments" weakness is changed to "Weak to Nerve"(Although it's still written as "Ailments" in-game)

i was thinking along the lines that i have a poor relationship with my mother and low self esteem as a result i think i like strong female characters as well as characters that exude confidence. and when a character combines both i swoon.
