Okay, start nitpicking. I want to hear anything you think could be improved.

Things I will NOT change: The header and sidebar. Those stay.

Also, I'm not sure how to get rid of certain gaps and spaces (like the indent of the new topic/reply buttons), so those will always receive low priority until I figure out what part of the code affects that.

Now then.

Does this mean you're not making the skin more like the old Invision boards, or just that it'll be secondary, ala Grand Dream?

If I think of something I'll post it later; there may be some tweaking between now and then anyway.

John and I decided this was fine. :P No need to make yet another skin at this point.

Two things:

1. Is it possible to move the "New Thread" button to another location within an exsiting thread? I keep clicking it on accident instead of Post Reply.

2. Sidebar and header are fine....DO SOMETHING WITH THAT BIG BLACK SPACE....(i know you'll probably throw an ad in there or someting, but FILL SOMETHING IN THERE! I'll MS Paint you something and email it off for the timebeing.)

Do you mean the spaces on the left/right? Go into your profile, and change the Board Style to Grand Dream. You may need to reload after doing so.

I think it's worth keeping in mind the Invision-style skin for later, unless everyone decides they don't care... But I don't mind really since Grand Dream works fine for me, heh.

For a real suggestion though, I'd like to see the Faq/Profile/Whatever buttons at the top get the white corners taken off. Even if it's just temporary and until actual buttons are made for those; it just looks ugly with those corners. :P

New buttons will be forthcoming in general. :P

And yeah Dade... What do you mean by the black space? Screenshot and show me.

As per Angelo's request, I've fixed it so the Preview/Submit (and related) buttons no longer are black on dark green. They're all white on green now.

Anything else?

Ah, Grand Dream makes everything much, much better. Thank you, 'Dosh.

But now add custom member titles to our profiles section dammit! :P

EDIT: Crap, I forgot something.

This is just me being a little nitpicky, but the dots that are used to keep track of topics with new posts, topics you've posted in, etc., kind of annoy me. Not because they're ugly or anything, but on the last boards they confused me. If you posted in a non-hot topic you'd get a yellow dot with a checkmark showing you posted in it. But if you didn't post in a hot topic you'd get a red dot with the checkmark on it. The checkmark being the thing that shows you that you have posted in said topic and may want to follow up on it and with the red dot being checked I'd always think: Have I posted in that topic? It just seemed misleading to me...

Yes I know I'm stupid you don't have to tell me.

Now that dade has pointed it out, yes, that is a gap that not even a horse's weiner could fill.

Todd doesn't understand code and layout, so I say we ignore his idea. If you want less empty space there, make your window smaller. :P

However, one thing that might help that though, is making the top menu cluster (FAQ, Search, etc.) flow on one row instead of being split into two. Which may be a pain and not worth doing depending on how it's coded, but it might look better.

(Oh hey, someone made new images for those too...!)

I'm not saying get rid of it, but do SOMETHING with it.

Edit: Like I said in my post, you'll probably put an ad in it or something. But wasted space on a webpage just sticks out too much.

And Mike, dont be a dick. I understand the limitations phpBB has.

But you like it when I'm a dick. You said that's what made you fall in love with me.

phpbb or not, I just don't think it would work, because of the text on the left. Maybe with a {float} class, but that might not work for everyone and some people would end up with a graphic slapped on top of the text on the left.
