I've played this game for maybe less then an hour. I was really dissapointed to say the least. does this game get any better? is there even anyone who has played and really enjoyed this game? I'm just curious.

I have the game and played it. It gets really tedious and in the end because barely playable (although I might consider finishing it).

Probably the positive thing in that game is that it has funny dialogue.

Renting it is better, but believe me, it's quite unplayable.

Here's some useful stuff when thinking about getting Cross Edge:

1. If you like the Mana Khemia, Disgaea, Ar tonelico, Atelier Marie, and Darkstalker characters, you can appreciate the characters. Otherwise you'll find the characters just ok and you'd wonder "why are they like this? what's happening? how the heck did they end up like that?"

2. This is not your traditional JRPG. I believe there are no towns and the only "town" you'll get is a manor wherein you interact with your characters and ask them to heal you, forge stuff, etc.

3. The only time you'd get to walk around the game is during the world map and during the side-scrolling ala Valkyrie Profile dungeon. No NPCs I think.

4. It has adult humor which people can appreciate

5. Game can be quite difficult and the battle is quite difficult also. It's best that you download all the free DLC of Cross Edge from the PSN. :P

Well, played the game (In Japanese) till full completion with everyone at L999 and everything obtained and all I'll say is. That was a big waste of time.

Then again, not every convincing seeing as I played it that much. :/

You need to be a fan of the characters in the game to fully enjoy it. However as far as I know the only crossover games I have truly enjoyed and not find tedious were the SRW games so...

I've only seen "no plans currently". With NISA, things can change real quick.

Even if the Xbox 360 version doesn't localise over there, I'm sure it wouldn't matter, seeing as it's apparently a very crap game.
