.... >_>

Anyway, this game is hilarious from what I've heard, although short (10 hours) and having a cliche story at the start (but gets better eventually).

For $40, I'm not going to complain.

Fuck off.

Edit: Looking back at earlier posts it's kind of funny how Parn was saying it wouldn't be worth $60, I made the wild guess it'd be $50 due to being a fairly low end game, and it gets announced at $40. Knowing Amazon it'll probably be on sale for $37 or even less, so yeah. At the very worst the game's being released for a very reasonable price, at best it's one of the best deals we'll have for a PS3 game.

By the way, the snappy response is because, well, you're a jerk for coming into a thread and whining that a game you wanted localized wasn't chosen over a game others really do want. It's not like they announced a title like "My World My Way" that people hadn't heard of, or even like much when it actually comes out.

To be fair though he's not the only one who would like it if they had localize Growlanser over this (namely due to a lack of PS3 ownership on my part). That said, I'm not against having my 3D Dots and eating it too.

I really don't see the draw for Growlanser.  All the games I've seen have been pretty terrible.  At least with copying Zelda, you have a solid gameplay base that's hard to screw up.

The reason why so many people have their panties in a bunch is due to the fact that out of the 6 games in the series, the 3 that we've gotten thus far (aka 2, 3, & 5) were the weakest of the 6. Growlanser PSP is a remake of the 1st game of the series (aka one of the 3 that's said to not suck to the point of actually being good). Unfortunately the best judge on how true or untrue this might be can only come from playing it, and we can't very well do that with the game in question sitting in Japan out of the masses reach.

That's because we got all the worst entries in the series while 1 and 4 are supposed to be great. I really would like to see Growlanser 1 come out here too, but this thread was never about that, or even a mystery Atlus announcement, so complaining that they didn't pick the game you wanted is only going to piss off everyone that cares about the game the thread's actually about.

I wonder why they skipped Growlanser 4 and headed straight to 5.

Working Designs sort of went under around that time. That and I guess Atlus figured they'd see if they could move the series with its Sandalwood equivalent before committing to it.

I watched the japanese trailer and it was pretty meh... after watching this one, I actually want to buy the game.

The 20 bucks off are also a plus.

That trailer reminded me of a game of a green dude with a sword.
