I don't know if people saw this:

Apparently I posted this but... I guess I'll bump up this url. :P
3D Dot Game Heroes = Awesome
Am I weird for being more interested in the Japanese take on the Ultima cover? ;)
Which is not to say those loading screens aren't amusing, because they are.

Sweet. It's funny that 3D Dot Game Heroes has a PAL release, and Demon's Souls doesn't.

The reviews I have seen so far have been quite positive. Well, I already had it preordered but now I want it even more. It sounds like it's not just a great parody, but is actually a fun game in of itself.

extremely excited about this game.
question though regarding development. The wiki article on the game states that it was developed by Silicon Studio and published by From SW in Japan yada yada. Though every write up/preview whatever refers to From as the developer. Does anyone know which is in fact true...or is Silicon Studio some kind of From SW in house development sub group or whatever.

No comments now that it's out?
I just started playing this game and I'm having a total blast with it. The whole thing is a love letter to the old classics. Yeah, I can see it getting old after a while and it's not a game I would do marathon sessions with, but when taken in small bites playing it just puts a smile on my face.
The character creator is really fun, too. I didn't think I would get much use out of it, but I started fooling around and made myself a TIE fighter for some reason...hey, why not? ;)

Silicon Studio developed it. I figure most previews aren't written by people too savvy on their connection, though a few like Siliconera DO know. Also, says "Developed by Silicon Studio" on loading.
Edit: Oh! And yeah, I have the game over, earlier than I expected or even wanted it to be honest since I stuck with free shipping from Amazon rather than going for Release Date delivery. I like it so far, it does some of what I've been missing from Zelda, namely in exploration. There's a whole bunch of areas you can visit before you have to, and even though you can't make much progress you can get a pretty decent amount of gold in the process.
