Number Two's eyes narrowed and became what are known in the Shouting and Killing People trade as cold slits, the idea presumable being to give your opponent the impression that you have lost your glasses or are having difficulty keeping awake. Why this is frightening is an, as yet, unresolved problem.

You play as both a hero and a leader, and your decisions are supposed to drastically affect the world.

Thing to keep in mind: take Molyneux's words with a grain of salt.

As long as I'm not constantly hounded by women looking for a ring.

...

In the game, too.

Considering that he delivered pretty well with Fable 2, I'm thinking he deserves a BIT more credit this time.

It's funny, I played Fable II not knowing that Molyneux talks big when it comes to his games, and enjoyed it for what it was. I enjoyed the game world, I  loved how my choices changed how the world looked, and the graphics were nice (not the best, but pleasing!). I almost want to ignore any info on Fable III and just play it, because when you don't have SUPER HIGH expectations (which are due to Molyneux running his mouth.) then you enjoy the game a hell of a lot more.

I'm all for being a leader. I just hope this time the main story is a bit more polished, and for god's sake make marriage worth my time. When I marry someone and give them an allowance, I don't expect Tofu gifts in return! :(

Here, let me lead you into this not-at-all dangerous clearing and meet my demon gate friend, THEN we'll talk about rings. I...like it there. It's private!

9/10 of what he promises won't actually appear in the game.

I dunno if he's a huckster, or just arrogant as hell and optimistic as all getup. I really do think that he believes that his next "masterpiece" is going to change human history. His visions just really aren't that practical in practice. Plus he sacrifices perfectly good elements (like... well... "story"), in the process of trying to achieve his unattainable ideal.

I'll also probably play it. I liked Fable 2 a lot (one of the few games I've ever felt really felt immersed in) so you can color me interested.

Huckster?  Nah - a huckster knows good and well that he's selling the public snake oil.  Molyneux honestly believes his games will deliver what he promises and that they'll be awesome.  He's idealistic, gullible, and too open about things that he should wait to disclose, but not a huckster.
