Following on from Akito's RPG Backlog thread; I don't have more than one game waiting to be played. My problem is trying to finish a game.
I have played about five ds RPG's this year, plus other ds games but none are finished. I started Zelda.... Phantom Hourglass about three weeks ago and I am over half way through, but I've lost interest in it. This keeps happening; I think it's when I start running around a game wondering where to go or what to do next that my interest is lost. I not sure if games are to long, to hard or to repetitive or is it just me.
What is the best ds game that you have completed?

It's tough Zool, I feel ya!
The most recent RPG I finished was the Legacy of YS bundle...not he best RPG, but I loved it for the nostalgia factor. I also beat Front Mission DS as well too, which I enjoyed as well. Since that last post and seeing how many of us are like this, I've stopped purchasing games....at least until Atlus comes out with more stuff..

Devil Survivor. So far the only DS game that actually made me sit down for a good part of the day and play it straight.

Single best DS game that I've completed? Impossible. I might be able to narrow it down by genre.
RPG: Devil Survivor, although Suikoden is damn close.
Puzzle: Exit DS
Music: Elite Beat Agents
Action: Trauma Center: Under the Knife
Adventure: Theresia, although all of the Phoenix Wright games are right there.

I'd have to say Hotel Dusk or Phoenix Wright (series).
I'm not finished Devil Survivor or Professor Layton yet.

Aterlier Iris 2 and Ar Tonelico 1. Started, half way, stopped. Worthy of finishing it?
That and Metal Gear Solid III. Almost...to...the...end.

The World Ends With You and Devil Survivor. Beat both in like two weeks or less.

Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow despite the BS stylus crap.
Oh God, someone that agrees with me. I've got so many game overs during the last boss battle because I couldn't draw a pentagram (or whatever it was) right. >_>

Chrono Trigger.
....It's the only DS game I've actually, er, beaten :P
Although if I ever do finish it, Devil Survivor might be even better.

Puzzle: Exit DS
Interesting Gen Eric Gui, I picked Exit up for £2 ($3) in my local game store, I wasn't sure what type of game it was but for the price I thought I'd give it a go. I'm not level 3 and no matter how hard I try i can't do the stylus move that lets the hero hang on to a ledge........... he keeps falling to his death.

That's because the stylus controls suck ass. Use the buttons.

This summer I beat the following DS games:
Fire Emblem
Drone Tactics
Luminous Arc 2
And I'm about half way through:
Rondo of Swords
Among these, Luminous Arc 2 has the best story and art, Rondo of Swords has the most interesting gameplay, followed by Drone Tactics, and Fire Emblem is just classic.

Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow despite the BS stylus crap.
I finished this too during my trip to SF.
Though I'm still chugging away at FFTA2 and FE:DS, I've still have four DS games left to beat (the afore mentioned ones plus Heroes of Mana and Knights in the Nightmare).

I love Castlevania and I just couldn't be bothered with this one. Too similar to Aria of Sorrow. Boring castle areas and rehashed monsters. I thought Portrait of Ruin was much fresher. Finally, some areas outside of the castle!
I thought Orcs & Elves was really great, and easy to beat since it is so concise.

There are many games I get 90% through then quit.
I've never finished a PSP game, and there are many DS games I've put many hours into then stopped playing.
I have maybe 10 PS2 RPGs I've opened just to read the manual but haven't actually played.
There's just too many games out there, and after a while, most RPGs grow stale and boring.
