As we all know, every good story has an ending.  This is mine.

It's been an honor and a privilege to serve this fine community as its benevolent dictator for all these years, but it's time to step down.  When I first arrived here way back in 2002, I would have never guessed that I would even stick around for the majority of a decade, much less oversee it for as long as I have.  I can honestly say that I enjoyed damn near every single moment of it, from the dumbest humor all the way to the darkest depths of drama.  Some of the greatest people I know were met right here in our little community, and that both pleases and surprises me every time I think about it. :P

I don't know who's taking over my spot quite yet, but I'm sure they'll let us know before too much longer.  Hopefully they won't be as harsh as me now that the roles are reversed. :P
