I've never play the Ar tonelico series but this might interest some people:

- Gameplay would be in 3D
- 2D map and portraits
- Costumes
- Release: January 28 2010

I have still yet to play the other two. The first one made a very limited PAL release (I hear it was limited to France and Italy) and I don't think we ever saw the second one.

Yay! Another game to get butchered/crippled in the localization process by NISA.

Let's just say I'm a little skeptical at the moment.

Man, it's kind of funny how Atelier Iris interested me years ago BECAUSE it was 2D, and now even Gust is abandoning it. They weren't really the best examples of it though, Odin Sphere completely outclassed them and given how their games seemed to be made on a relatively low budget it's not surprising they're jumping to full 3D this generation.

This is a game that would make me buy a PS3 just for it...except NISA will drop the ball yet again.

The character design looks sooooooo cliche for the genre... oh well I hope the characterization is good.

I would intrested........but now I thought AI2 was one of the most over-rated games I ever played(funny, because I liked it first), so screw it! Except the OST.

OMG OMG OMG OMG *GIRLY SCREAM* GODDAMMIT I WAS JUST HELLA HAPPY CUZ AR TONELICO 2 WAS SO COOL AND WAS IN THE OTHER GIRLS PATH AND THIS HAPPENS, IM SO FREACKING HAPPY!!! I BELIVE IN LIFE AGAIN! I LAUGHT AT THE FACE OF THE COLLEGE TESTS, U EXAMS ARE NOT ENOUGH TO MAKE ME SAD!!! *breaths* ohh god, ar tonelico 2? overrated? lol well it depends on the person who plays it, i loved it, i loved that i took almost 47 hours to beat it (i love good long games) even if the main character was more like for support at the end, i still liked it, i love that when i choose the other girl path theres a lot of different stuff and they just didnt change some script, the freaking extra section is even commented by the creators wich makes it funnier... Im reaaally looking forward to this game, most probably will spam NISA to get it here >=3

I'm hopeful that since it's a next gen title, that maybe, just maybe they will put a little more time into it after the last debacle.  Could be wrong, but hey, at least the PS3 can be patched!

Anyways, I'm sure Pat is happy... assuming he has a PS3.
