Apparently, if true, some of these games might come over stateside. At the very least I've heard that the PSP Ys 1 & 2 re^nth-make was supposed to be far better than the DS re^(nth-1)-make. Plus I've also heard good things about Zewi!!
Also Ys 7

I'd love to see the Ys games and the Legend of Heroes games in the US (as long as they don't only translate the third one or something; we've seen this happen a few too many times before....)

Assuming it is true, I have no issue with buying the new port of Ys I/II to go with my DS port, if only to support more Ys and more PSP goodness.

It would be great to finally get
The Legend of Heroes 6
games. And the
Ys
games as well, of course.

Bring them all here. I'm currently playing through Ys Seven, and even with virtually no understanding of Japanese, it's import friendly, and the gameplay driven nature of the game makes me enjoy it immensely. For anyone who played Felghana or Origin, it's quite a radical departure, and much longer than other Ys games, but it ultimately works out well. It's still a nice, fast based action game with good music to boot.
I would love to play the Legend of Heroes VI trilogy. I heard the PSP ports are well done so here is hoping for a good localizer. Atlus or Xseed or other competent localizers, please bring it over.

Don't like Ys but LoH6 sounds great.

PSP Ys 1 and 2 is a port of the Windows version, which most agree are the definitive versions.
The DS ones... were kinda awful.
I will definitely purchase Ys Chronicle if it comes it over. However, I'm not getting to excited about this, I really don't think anything will materialize from it.

For months I've been dreaming about YS1&2, YS7, and Brandish coming stateside. That would really complete the PSP for me - no other games would have to come out and I would be totally satisfied.
We'll see though. Nihon Falcom games don't make it here often. I'm skeptical.

I was about to import Ys Seven too. I guess I should just wait for a (possible) NA release.
Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be able to hold off that long, and import it on a whim. :P

You might want to do that just in case you don't want to risk putting up with another Gagharv Trilogy.

I actually have the PC versions of Ys I + II installed on my computer with their respective translation patches, but haven't been motivated to play them at all...

Not a bad idea, either way... if you really want to play it.
This whole thing may not materialize into anything, but even if it does, well you'll still be able to enjoy a translated version of the game too.
