So, Road Salt will only be available next year but the EP is out:

1. Linoleum
2. Mortar Grind
3. If You Wait
4. Gone
5. Bonus Track B
6. Yellow Raven

When Daniel said it was Led Zeppelin on steriods he wasn't kidding. The 70īs har rock vibe is huge and is also felt in the production.
Bonus track B is the band discussing what the bonus treack should be...
Yellow raven is a scorpions cover.

Daniel never ceases to amaze me. What a departure from their previous work. I like it but there will be a lot of discussion around this one. The brilliant songwriting and the amazing voice (his versatility is well on display here) are still there but with a huge retro vibe. I guess those Zeppelin tributes with Mike Portnoy really made an impression on him. When they played them he said he had never heard LZ. Now he actually writes an album in the same style.

Can't wait for the whole thing.

Hell yes!
I can't wait to hear how the EP turned out.
Saying it's like Led Zeppelin on steroids is great way to make me excited.

Go in with an open mind and give it a few spins, this is great stuff, more in your face than your usual POS stuff but really really cool.

Great song, terrible music video. Hate the beefcake image of the band, though Daniel's beard is kind of an interesting new look. Also, the keyboard player is playing a rhoads the entire time, yet they keep showing an acoustic piano, which just makes me go "what the fuck?"

Well, yeah, the music is what matters though, the other 4 songs are also great, the style is the same, this stuff really grows on you.
