To be honest after the initial "FUCK YEAH" of seeing it, I'm feeling rather lukewarm about the game. Aside from some terrible service SE in the US has provided (Though I guess that improved greatly during the later years of FFXI), I can't help but be disappointed by the fact that it took them like, 4 years to develop...that. Sure, it looks great, but it just seems so vanilla fantasy to me, and its using the exact same art style and races as FFXI. I'm looking forward to how they design the gameplay, but I'm actually not terribly excited.

It wasn't really SE's service that was the problem. It was SE hiring outcontract employees who worked at SCEA to be GMs for FFXI. So once again I can blame Sony for being run by heartless, soulless emo-moe faggots who don't care about human beings because they are demonic assholes who shit hell.
