Help me remember a song!

Evening, ladies.  I need help in recalling the name of a certain song and who sings it.  Actually, it's not even the song I remember much about, but the video that went along with it.

It would have been sometime in the early '90s, maybe even pre-grunge.  I remember it was a technoish (or perhaps discoish) song with a sexy redhead singing, a look out of the mid to late '60s, and it may or may not have involved Bootsy Collins in some form or fashion.  I don't remember him per se, but I do seem to remember his distinctive star-shaped bass guitar.

I know that ain't much to go on, but it's all I've got.  I don't know why this came to my mind in the middle of exams. :P
