Yes, I meant to commend it for not using RPG Maker.  99% of the indie games we see around here are made with RPG Maker, so it's nice to see stuff like this.

The topic of whether Zelda is an RPG or not doesn't concern me at this time haha.

Aquaria: http://www.bit-blot.com/aquaria/ (undersea Metroidvania type game also co-done by Derek Yu of Eternal Daughter fame.  It's not freeware)

Emberwind: http://www.timetrap.se/emberwind/ (Ghouls 'n Ghosts type action-platformer by Swedish developer TimeTrap;  I think this game's really fun, I like the art style, and is worth the 10 bucks or so.)

Lately I'm studying the possibility to create games for XBOX Live and Nintendo Wii Ware. I'm definitely interested to create an epic sidescroller game.

Technically, Oracle Adventure was a sidescroller we created (Blossomsoft) but it was never published due to the deal with the publisher.
